Saturday July 9, 2022
1:00 – 2:30 PM EDT
Remote via Zoom

This interactive 90-minute workshop introduces you to the science of mindfulness and other contemplative practices and their impact on the health of your brain.  Mindfulness, meditation, and other mental training practices help to promote changes in the brain that contribute to psychological health and well-being. Recent research reveals that eight weeks of mindfulness meditation for ten to fifteen minutes a day can produce these results and lower the amygdala’s response to stress and emotional stimuli.
